OBS Integration Setup

Adding Widgets to OBS

1. Create Widget in Songify

   • Set up your desired widget type
   • Note the widget URL provided

2. Add Browser Source in OBS

   • In OBS, add a new Browser Source
   • Set the URL to your widget URL
   • Configure width and height

3. Position the Widget

   • Drag the browser source to desired location
   • Resize as needed
   • Set layer order (above/below other sources)

Widget URLs

• Now Playing: http://localhost:3050/widget/now-playing
• Queue: http://localhost:3050/widget/queue
• Recent: http://localhost:3050/widget/recent

Advanced OBS Settings

• Refresh Rate: Set to 1 second for real-time updates
• CSS: Add custom styling if needed
• Interact: Enable for clickable widgets
• Shutdown: Properly close browser sources

Troubleshooting

• Widget not showing: Check URL and port
• No updates: Verify refresh rate settings
• Performance issues: Reduce refresh rate
• Styling conflicts: Use custom CSS
